Erecting barricades

To control the city, it is vital to cut communications and the mobility of government forces.

Barricades can be set up with anything from vehicles, sand bags, trees, rocks, garbage cans, road signs, burning tires, etc...

All major streets must be barricaded. It requires major involvement of the population.

To hold barricades against troops and police, molotov cocktails and small arms can prove very effective.

For historical references, look at the uprising of Paris in August 1945. Citizens erected barricades and stole weapons by attacking isolated german soldiers.

this is supposed to be a peaceful protest.
Do not encourage violence

Do you think that there can be a peaceful regime change? I believe that Khomeini will use force to stay in power.

To the last poster: the only way to defeat evil is with evil. This is what I have to say to my Iranian brothers, DO EVIL TO WHOM ARE EVIL. And once they are defeated make sure there is NO trace of them in your society. GOD BLESS YOU.
